Frequently Asked Questions

  • Yes! I offer in person and telehealth appointments. My office is located near downtown Tulsa by the Brut Hotel.

  • Typically sessions are 50 minutes.

  • My goal of the consultation is to get an idea of why you are seeking therapy. It is only 15 mintues, so you don’t need to share your deepest secrets. You can say something like “I’ve been really stressed lately and want to manage it better”.

  • Therapy is a conversation. My job is not to tell you what to do. I provide a space for you to explore your own thoughts and feelings. I offer feedback, guidance, and direction throughout the session.

  • I specialize in anxiety, grief, and complex family relationships. Sometimes this shows up as changes within the family, life transitions, or career changes. You can read more about my specialties here.

  • I work with many different types of clients—often caregivers or those who tend to put other’s needs before their own.

  • I have a Master of Social Work from The University of Oklahoma.

    I have a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from Oral Roberts University.

  • A LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) is the type of license I hold that allows me to practice therapy. I hold this license because my graduate degree is in Social Work and I have completed all necessary hours of supervision and clinical practice to be able to practice therapy.
